Overview
Delhi to Kashmir is one of those journeys where the distance between departure and arrival feels larger than the map suggests. The flight is barely 90 minutes but the world that meets you at Srinagar Airport – the cool air, the ring of mountains, the poplar-lined roads heading into the valley – is genuinely unlike anything the plains offer. The kashmir tour package from delhi is built for the Delhi traveller who wants the full valley circuit across five days without the compromise of a rushed itinerary or a bloated one.
Bon Voyagers handles the pickup from Srinagar Airport and covers four nights across Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam with a private Innova, Xylo or Scorpio class vehicle throughout. The route moves from the Dal Lake and Mughal Gardens of Srinagar on Day 1 to the high meadows of Gulmarg on Day 2, the Lidder Valley and Baisaran meadow of Pahalgam on Days 3 and 4, and back to Srinagar for the Day 5 airport drop. Daily breakfast and dinner on MAP basis throughout.
Day-wise Itinerary

The kashmir tour package from delhi begins at Srinagar Airport, where the Bon Voyagers vehicle is waiting at arrival. Srinagar sits at approximately 1,585 metres and the valley floor opens wide around the city - the Zabarwan hills to the east, the Pir Panjal range to the south, the river Jhelum running through the middle of it all.
The afternoon goes to the Dal Lake Shikara ride, the Mughal Gardens at Nishat and Shalimar, and the old city lanes around Hazratbal. Tonight is the first of two nights in Srinagar. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
The drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg covers approximately 55 kilometres northwest through the Pir Panjal foothills and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Gulmarg sits at approximately 2,650 metres - high enough that the temperature drops noticeably from the valley floor regardless of season.
The Gondola cable car runs in two phases from the meadow base up to Kongdori at approximately 3,100 metres and further to Apharwat ridge at approximately 3,980 metres, weather and operational status permitting. The kashmir tour package from delhi includes the Gulmarg visit but Gondola charges are paid locally at the cable car counter. Overnight at Gulmarg.
The morning in Gulmarg is worth an early start before the day-tripper traffic arrives from Srinagar. The drive south from Gulmarg back through Srinagar and on to Pahalgam covers approximately 140 kilometres in total and takes around 3.5 to 4 hours with a short break.
Pahalgam sits at approximately 2,130 metres in the Lidder Valley - a river town where the Lidder runs cold and fast past the main bazaar and the air carries pine from the forests on both banks. This kashmir tour package from delhi uses Pahalgam as the Day 3 and Day 4 base. Overnight at Pahalgam.
The full day in Pahalgam is the point where the kashmir tour package from delhi slows to the pace the valley deserves. Baisaran meadow sits approximately 5 kilometres from the main town at around 2,440 metres - a wide alpine meadow ringed by fir forest with views back down the Lidder Valley that are among the most open in the entire Kashmir circuit.
Aru Valley, approximately 12 kilometres from Pahalgam, follows the Aru stream through smaller villages and wider pastures. Betab Valley adds a third layer - greener, closer to the road, used heavily for film shoots since the 1980s. Horse charges for Baisaran are paid locally.
The kashmir tour package from delhi closes on Day 5 with the drive from Pahalgam back to Srinagar - approximately 96 kilometres taking around 2 to 2.5 hours depending on traffic through the Anantnag stretch. The Srinagar morning can absorb a final walk through the old city, a stop at Lal Chowk for last-minute saffron or dry fruit purchases, or simply a quiet breakfast before the drive.
The Bon Voyagers vehicle drops at Srinagar Airport for the return flight to Delhi. Afternoon and evening departures are well within reach. Groups with morning flights should inform the Bon team at booking so Day 5 morning is structured accordingly.
